When you should be the WHOLE DAMN THUNDER STORM!
We've all heard the old saying " Don't pour on someone's parade".. I say F*CK that, and instead be the storm! Don't ever let someone walk over you and make you feel less than awesome!
People that need to put others down, are simply insecure. Insecurity breeds jealousy and hate and my answer to them: "Sticks and stones might break my bones, but words will never hurt me. "
But being strong enough to ignore bullies is NOT easy and requires work. Work that many don't want to do because it usually entails dealing with themselves which can be painful. You need to accept and deal with your past hurts and insecurities because without you being ok with you, YOU will never have a solid enough foundation to actually move forward.
And ya, words can hurt until YOU don't allow them to... Remember, YOU ARE VALUABLE, so why are you giving ANYONE rent free space in your head?
Getting a strong foundation starts with YOU knowing your worth. Until then, you will keep accepting things you should NOT. So know your worth and everything will change... TRUST ME.
